Our client is considering options for constructing a wind farm in the southeast of England.
LPA were asked to carry out a pre-feasibility investigation of the most practical and economic solutions for connection of the wind farm to the grid.
The possibility of connecting to the nearest distribution network was investigated and several options for making the connection explored. Capacity limitations of a distribution system connection option were defined together with typical costs for the alternative connection arrangements. |
