Power systems include transmission, distribution, industrial, commercial and ac/dc traction systems. Specialist in measurements and analysis of power supply quality including harmonics, flicker, unbalance and disturbances. Previously with GEC at Stafford, CEGB in London and PB Power (Divisional Director). Previous Chairman of IEE's Professional Network on Power System Equipment.

More than twenty years global experience in planning, analysis and design of distribution and utility systems.  Specialisation includes the planning, optimisation and rehabilitation of distribution systems and the application of computing technology.  Other areas of experience include industrial and commercial power systems, generation integration, power quality and reliability.  Past 9 years have been involved in the design of high-reliability power supplies for airports, MoD, data centres and other clients.

An experienced Utility Industry senior manager with a strong business and people management background. Career with Seeboard  Plc included Distribution and Commercial Engineering posts. Instrumental in restructuring  Seeboard Contracting Services  and MD of Seeboard Powerlink. Laterly MD of EDF Energy Major Projects responsible for the operation of BAA, London Underground , Channel Tunnel Rail networks and their associated  capital projects. Experienced in the PPP/PFI arena.
